Pray for wisdom in a new role
I am stepping into a new leadership role this month and want to serve with humility, clarity, and patience.
A prayer request sharing platform focused on emotionally sensitive community interactions.

People already share prayer topics within small groups, but sharing the experience around those topics can feel forced. Some requests are vulnerable enough that people want support from trusted community members without opening every detail to an entire group.
Salight was intended as a platform for Christians to share prayer topics with the people they are comfortable with, let others respond through prayer, and make support visible without requiring someone to say it explicitly every time.
The product centered on privacy settings, user-created groups, simple ways to let someone know they have been prayed for, and updates that show how the original prayer topic is progressing. Because this is a social application, the hard part was encouraging network participation without making prayer feel performative or pressured.
The biggest learning was that sensitive community products need restraint. The product has to reduce ambiguity, make boundaries easy to understand, and create participation paths that feel sincere rather than optimized for visible engagement.
Privacy design became the foundation of the experience. Group creation, visibility controls, and owner-only prayer details were not secondary settings; they shaped whether people would feel comfortable sharing vulnerable topics at all.
I also learned that AI-assisted exploration can be useful for moving quickly through tone, interaction patterns, and privacy language, but the final product direction still has to be grounded in human judgment, care, and the emotional context of the community.

Only the topic owner can see this private prayer.
Others can see that people prayed, but only the topic owner can see the details.
Prayer details stay private to the topic owner, so others can leave more personal prayers in text or audio while the public surface only shows others' supports.
Please pray for peace and confidence as I prepare for a final interview this week.
The final interview is scheduled for Thursday. Please keep praying for calm, clear answers, and the right fit.
